As per GossipsTV, award organisers have rubbished Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai‘s Shehzada Dhami’s claim that he was called backstage and asked to move. The organisers stated that Shehzada was occupying an entire sofa and the front seat rows were allotted to the awardees. He was asked to move so that seniors like Rajan Shahi could seat. The organiser also stated, “Rajan Shahi is a very big name. I don’t think he would be affected by Shehzada being there in the show, among so many people present there.” Further to Times Now, Mohammed Lateef, the event organiser revealed what exactly happened. He shared that the hall was full and there were many who had to stand. When Rajan Shahi entered the hall, he had to stand for almost 15 minutes with Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly and others. The organiser claimed that Shehzada Dhami is making up stories against Rajan Shahi. He also further added that Shehzada’s PR team also asked the organisers to give him award but he wasn’t on the list. Shehzada was just called as a guest.

Shehzada Dhami in an interview with Siddharth Kannan claimed that the organisers asked him to move as Rajan Shahi was going to enter and that if he doesn’t do it, they would get blacklisted. But this story has now been debunked by the organisers. Shehzada Dhami was in tears when he spoke about his ouster and what exactly went wrong.
