The latest season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been quite an eventful one. After Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda, Shehzada Dhami and Samridhii Shukla became the leads as the show took a leap. However, after fans fell in love with Shehzada and Samridhii’s chemistry, the makers decided to replace the male lead. Shehzada Dhami’s ouster lead to a big controversy. Along with him, Pratiksha Honmukhe too was shown the door. There were rumours suggesting that Shehzada and Pratiksha were dating and that became a concern. Now, Pratiksha Honmukhe has cleared the air.

In an interview with Times Now/Telly Talk, Pratiksha Honmukhe has clarified that she is not dating Shehzada Dhami who played the role of Armaan in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She specified that she could strike a bond with him as he was her first friend on the sets of her first TV serial. She was quoted saying, “So the way he helped me, the way he was with me, for that reason a bond formed between us. If you’re too comfortable with a person, naturally a bond forms, but it doesn’t mean that they are together.”

Earlier, Shehzada Dhami too responded to rumours of dating Pratiksha Honmukhe. In an interview, he denied the dating rumours and mentioned that Pratiksha’s family was most affected by it. She revealed that he received a call from Pratiksha’s parents who shared that they were quite worried reading all the rumours about their daughter. However, they did not for a second doubt that there was anything going on between the two. Shehzada spoke at length about all the allegations made against him by producer Rajan Shahi.

Shehzada had congratulated Pratiksha on social media as she got this new opportunity. He is yet to announce his next big project after Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
