A few days before the reports of Aishwarya being in tears emerged, Salman had given an interview denying the allegations stating that he physically abused Aishwarya. He had commented that had he hit her, she would have not survived. Later, Vivek Oberoi also made some remarks on Farah Khan’s show. He stated that Aishwarya Rai did not acknowledge his efforts and called her ungrateful. He also stated that he regrets ruining his career by carrying out that press conference against Salman Khan. All of this, allegedly impacted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was then shooting for Guzarish. She had a breakdown on the sets and said, “I am living my life the way I want.
