Right now one of his interviews is going viral where he claims rug washing dishes at the wedding party of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

In his interview with Hindustan Times, he reportedly said, “I started working as a waiter at a hotel. After a few months, when I was working in the kitchen department, we had a party which was Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s reception. The first time I saw film stars and Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan. Soon after, I left that job and started working in a mall and giving auditions. I was told to learn acting and do theatre”.

Aasif Khan has worked in several web series and has become a household name. In his initial interview with Indiatimes, he had claimed that it was Irrfan Khan who motivated him to become an actor, “Actually I feel that this is the golden time of cinema, not because I am getting work, but every talent is getting their space. Earlier we have seen Manoj Bajpayee and Irrfan Khan too who have done good work and made it big , but today the opportunity has expanded. Today audiences have become very aware.”
