Stree 2 gets a release date

Taking to their official Instagram handle, Maddock Films shared a small clip as they announced Stree 2. They captioned it as, ‘Iss swatantrata diwas, aa rahi hai #Stree fir se!’ The film will be released on Independence Day which is on August 15. Known for their work in films like Kalki and Fighter, Prime Focus limited Group has once again taken audiences to a different world with their mastery of VFX in Munjya.

A look at Stree 2 release date

Earlier, Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again was slated for an August 15 release, but now the film has been postponed and will be released in Diwali 2024. Singham Again will have a face-off with Kartik Aaryan’s Singham Again. Munjya starring Sharvari, Mona Singh and Abhay Verma has been performing well at the box office. The film has now collected Rs. 35 crore in its first week as per Sacnilk.com. The film collected Rs. 4 crore on its first day of release and earned Rs. 7.25 crore on day 2. The film crossed Rs. 30 crore by Thursday and collected Rs. 35.15 crore in India.

Talking about Shaitaan, it managed to cross Rs. 150 crore in India. On the first day, it earned Rs. 14.50 crores on its first day. As Shaitaan, Munja has been receiving love from the viewers, Stree 2 surely gets a benefit. Stree 2 which will release on August 15 will have a clash with Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2. The film will also clash with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein.
