Salman Khan's father Salim Khan reacts to defending son during controversies and court cases

Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan is head over heels in love with his sons – Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. The veteran screenwriter told Zoom in an old interview about defending Salman Khan during the worst controversies of his career. Salim Khan admitted that he has never indulged in false humility with his kids and stated that he loves them unconditionally.

Salim Khan even said that every time Salman has made a mistake, everyone criticizes him. He asked what they wanted him to say to his son, that he made a mistake. He said that he cannot say that Salman is perfect or Arbaaz if you do this then only he will love them. He said that they were his children and he would defend them. He also said that he would protect them but does not approve of some things that he does.

The veteran filmmaker said that during Salman’s clash with filmmaker Subhash Ghai, the two got involved in a brawl at a party, wherein his son slapped the filmmaker. He said that he told Salman to seek an apology. Salim said that Salman admitted that it was his mistake and blamed alcohol for the fight. He advised him to pick up the call and apologize to Subhash.

Salman has always been surrounded by controversies. Right from an ugly spat with Vivek Oberoi over his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai to his car crashing into a bakery in Mumbai. Salman got arrested for the hit-and-run case but was released on bail. On the work front, he was last seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif.
