Rubina Dilaik shares her emotional and painful experience of breastfeeding twins Edhaa and Jeeva 

Rubina Dilaik is a new mother to twins Edhaa and Jeeva. The actress welcomed two daughters with Abhinav Shukla in November 2023. The actress has since then been sharing her journey in a new podcast video or vodcast called Kisine Bataya Nahi: The Motherhood Journey. Recently, Rubina shared a new vodcast in which she wKisi Ne as joined by another new mom, Sugandha Mishra. The comedienne-singer has a daughter too. Rubina Dilaik opens up on her emotional and painful experience of breastfeeding Edhaa and Jeeva

Rubina Dilaik talked about her breastfeeding experience in the first few months. The actress reveals that after 3 or 4 days of delivering her daughters, she started experiencing pain in lifting her arm. She got Abhinav to check and found that there were three lumps inside her arm. The actress panicked and wondered if it was cancerous. She got petrified and called up her doctor who revealed that the milk had been saturated in the ducts. The actress was told to massage them and if not massaged and reduced then they would have to be surgically removed.

It was quite painful for her since the lumps were giving the Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress a lot of pain. Rubina then reveals about having to teach her kids about latching to the nipple. And just as one of them does, she begins crying, And then, we see Rubina’s face contorted in pain as she recollects the pain she felt while breastfeeding her kids initially.

Sugandha Mishra and Ishita Dutta’s motherhood experience

Sugandha Mishra shares that it is perfectly normal if a mother does not lactate initially. New moms can get milk after 3 to 4 days or even 15 days if it’s a cesarean. After that, Rubina shared Ishita Dutta‘s experience of how her baby couldn’t just latch and hence, she would feed her son via express milk. The actress says it is very normal and that there shouldn’t be pressure on the mom to breastfeed the baby. Sugandha also highlighted the quantity to which Rubina revealed that initially, her nipples would bleed while breastfeeding and she would apply cream, and massage to not let the milk saturate and freeze in the ducts and then feed the babies. It’s tough being a mom but eventually, you learn it, but yeah, nobody told them about it before.
