Mr and Mrs Mahi box office collection day 1: Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer to register great numbers with tickets at just Rs 99

Mr & Mrs Mahi is the next big Bollywood release. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, the film is going to hit the theatres on May 31. It is a romantic sports drama helmed by Sharan Sharma. It is a story of a man who aspired to be a cricketer but couldn’t. He then trains his wife to excel in the sport. The trailer and the songs have already created quite a buzz among the masses and here comes another good news. The tickets of the film will be available for Rs 99 on Friday 31.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Cinema Lovers Day or National Cinema Day came into existence. Owing to it, on Friday 31, the theatres will be celebrating Cinema Lovers Day. It is for the second time that Cinema Lovers Day will be celebrated in this year. Last it was done in February. Well, Mr & Mrs Mahi is falling on May 31 and it is Cinema Lovers Day, thus the tickets will be available at just Rs 99. To the portal, a multiplex official said, “The film already has a buzz and the Rs. 99 offer will further give the film a boost. It’s also a great start to the movie-watching season again.” Given the buzz and the ticket offer, one can expect that Mr & Mrs Mahi will take a flying start at the box office. All eyes are now on the box office numbers. Janhvi and Rajkummar Rao have left no stone unturned in promoting the film. Janhvi even picked her outfits that were in-sync with the theme of Mr & Mrs Mahi. The film also stars Rajesh Sharma, Zarina Wahab, Kumud Mishra and many others. Janhvi and Rajkummar’s chemistry is already loved.

Mr & Mrs Mahi also does not have a direct competition with any other big film at the box office. It is only on June 14 that Kartik Aaryan’s movie Chandu Champion will release. Later, on June 27 that Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan’s Kalki 2898 AD will take over the theatres.
