Mirzapur 3: Vijay Varma talks about his double role in the web series; says 'It's the closest…' [Exclusive]

The series has been even more popular than a big blockbuster movie or a big TV show. Every character from the show has been getting all the love from the audience since the first season. There have been many memes made on the show and even the title song of the series has been very popular. People remember each and every dialogue said by their favourite characters from the show. The show also had Diyvenndu as Munna bhaiya but he has revealed that he will not be a part of season 3. We have all seen the end of Munna bhaiya in the show and many fans are not happy because of this decision taken by the actor. In second season, we saw Vijay Varma entering the show. He played a double role of Bharat Tyagi and Shatrughan Tyagi in the show. He was loved for his performance in the show. However, by the end of the second season we see one of the Tyagi brothers gets killed. Vijay Varma spoke to BollywoodLife about playing the double role in Mirzapur. He said, “It was very delightful. The process is very technical and tedious but it’s the closest I have ever seen magic unfold. I did a little bit of one brother and I did little bit of other brother and then the director did something and they edited in a way and now it looks like a magic trick. It was nice to see two of these brothers roaming around in the frame and interacting with each other. The child inside me feels very good. Although I was dropped off this delight this season because we see only one Tyagi and the other one is rest in peace. But nevertheless, with such tragedy being hit to the Tyagi family, there are so many reasons to come back and seek revenge.” Mirzapur 3 will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from July 5.
