Two of the national crushes of India, Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are gearing up to co-star in the eagerly awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror comedy directed by Anees Bazmee that began production earlier this year. Their pairing is definitely one of the most talked about and much awaited. And amid this excitement there is also chatter about the duo signing up for a second film, which is expected to be a romantic movie directed by Anurag Basu. He clarified that Aashiqui 3 is not in the works at the moment. Instead, the team is focusing on a different film slated to start production in July, which will also be directed by Anurag Basu. He also admitted that they did start working on Aashiqui 3 but things were not falling into place. Therefore they focused their energies towards making another romantic movie, with Anurag directing and Kartik and Triptii as leads. To land a second film together even before a glimpse of the first one is out says a lot about industry’s faith in this pair of dynamic, popular, young stars. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is looking forward to the release of his much-anticipated film, Chandu Champion, set to hit the screens on June 14th. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Kabir Khan, is based on the real-life story of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. Two posters of the film are out recently and creating great buzz. The trailer is all set to be launched in a grand way in Gwalior, Kartik’s hometown, on May 18, 2024. Kartik is also all set to return as Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, following the huge success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film will feature Vidya Balan in a significant role. The first shooting schedule of the film was wrapped up in March and the second is underway with Kartik shooting most nights to complete the shoot before he gets busier promoting Chandu Champion.
