Kangana Ranaut has now forayed into politics. The Manikarnika actress has got the ticket to contest in Lok Sabha 2024 elections from her hometown Mandi. She has joined political party BJP and is going all out with her campaign. With politics comes blame game. After Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar made claims about Kangana Ranaut’s once admitting to consuming beaf, the actress has now strongly reacted to the rumours through her social media account. She criticised those spreading ‘baseless rumours’ about her. In her post, she also mentioned that she has been advocating and promoting yogic and Ayurvedi way of living for a long time now. She mentioned that spreading rumours about her won’t tarnish her image. She also called herself a ‘Proud Hindu’.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is soon going to be seen in Emergency. The movie has her featuring as former Prime Minister of India – Indira Gandhi. As the title suggests, the movie will take viewers back to the emergency era. Apart from this, she also has Manikarnika 2. The movie was announced in 2021, however, there is no update on the film as yet. Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Tejas. She played an Indian Air Force pilot in the film. The movie unfortunately tanked at the box office.
