Kangana Ranaut reacts to Annu Kapoor's 'Who is she?' comment, 'We tend to hate successful women… '

Kangana Ranaut has been ruling the headlines lately because of her achievements as a politician. In the recent Lok Sabha elections 2024, Kangana Ranaut managed to win from Mandi constituency. However, after he big win, an incident took place at the Chandigarh airport where she was slapped by a CISF personnel. It was her comments on Farmer’s protest that sparked the reaction from the woman CISF officer. Now, in a recent press conference for film Hamare Baarah, Annu Kapoor was asked to comment on the same. However, he gave a surprising reaction asking ‘Who is she?’ He counter questioned the journalist asking ‘First let me know who is she. If asking about her, she might be a big heroine.’ It has received a strong reaction from Kangana Ranaut. She shared it with a caption stating that society tends to hate successful women especially if they are powerful. She wrote, “Do you agree with Annu Kapoor ji that we tend to hate a successful woman, hate her more if she is beautiful and hate her even more passionately if she is powerful? Is it true?”   Kangana Ranaut who is now an MP from Mandi has spoken at length about the CISF slap incident. In one of the post shared earlier, Kangana Ranaut revealed her theory as to why she got slapped. She wrote that the CISF personnel ‘strategically waited for me to cross her and in signature Khalistani style, quitely came from behind and hit my face without saying a word.’ She also added, ‘Farmers Laws have been repealed and they don’t concern anyone anymore probably this was her way of joining Khalistani bandwagon which is getting major political seats in Punjab.’
