Gullak 4 vs. Panchayat 3: While OTT is blooming day by day, one complaint OTT viewers have is that there are very few content pieces which can be seen by the entire family together. Changing the narrative that OTT content is not family-friendly, especially for the Indian audience, series like Gullak, Panchayat, and others are definitely proving that a successful series instead of forced glamour and nudity, in fact requires a simple yet beautiful story to which everyone can easily relate. Harsh Mayar, who essays the role of Aman in Gullak, is extremely excited and happy that his series has been received with so much love, and he too believes that one of the reasons Gullak is popular is because it’s family-friendly content. Harsh Mayar aka Aman reacts to the similarities between Gullak 4 and Panchayat 3

Reacting to the above question, Harsh said, ”There is no competition. In fact, I am happy that OTT is blooming and people are getting a chance to show their skills. Initially, we had just a handful of directors who used to create content. However, since OTT has become a rage, there are a lot of directors, hence there are a lot of stories, which in turn pave the way for many actors. Also, I don’t believe in these medium concepts. I have myself worked in films as well as series. And I think what’s important is the content should be good, it should entertain you, now whether the content comes on the big screen or the OTT, it actually doesn’t matter.”

In the same conversation, Harsh also said that he has always preferred quality over quantity. He states that he always wants to be associated with projects that give him a chance to do meaty roles. For this unaware, Harsh is also a recipient of the prestigious national award winner for his role in I am Kalam.
