Makers are now on the verge of winding up Ishvi’s story and gearing up for the new narrative. Earlier, it was reported that Harshad Chopda would replace Shakti in the show. However, as per recent reports, it’s not Harshad but another actor who has already worked in many popular TV shows that has been approached to be the new male lead.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin serial: Hitesh Bharadwaj to replace Shakti Arora

According to a report in Gossip TV, Hitesh Bharadwaj, who was last seen in Aankh Micholi, has been approached to play the male lead protagonist in the show. He was approached a few days back. It is stated that although nothing has been finalized officially, the actor is most probably finalized for the show. The makers and even Hitesh are keen to come on board, and it’s a matter of a few formalities before Hitesh becomes the new male lead of the show. What his exact character will be, and what will be the backdrop of his story, is currently undisclosed. It is expected that in a few weeks, the makers of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin will announce the entry of the new cast member.

What will be Ishaan’s (Shakti Arora) fate is still uncertain. Contrary to earlier rumors, the leap won’t be of 10 years, but it will be around 6 to 7 years. Post-leap, it is stated that along with Savi ( Bhavika Sharma), Harini, Ishaan’s mother, and father’s characters will be retained. Now, whether Ishaan’s biological parents will mark their entry or Rao Sahab and Akka Sahab, whom Ishaan considers as his father and mother, will be retained, is again something which is not clear.
