Chandu Champion: From trailer launch in Gwalior to opening advance booking at Burj Khalifa, here

The one film that everyone is talking about right now is undoubtedly Chandu Champion. The film, that releases on the big screens on June 14, stars Kartik Aaryan in a never-seen-before avatar and is touted to be a game changer in his career. The film is directed by Kabir Khan (who last weaved magic with a sports biopic ‘83 starring Ranveer Singh) and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the man behind some of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema. The film’s posters, trailer and songs have all created a positive buzz and to keep the excitement on an all time high, the makers are going all out to promote Chandu Champion in innovative ways. And mind you, no budget is being spared. The film has been mounted on a good scale, with an estimated budget of around Rs 120 crores as per reports and the promotional activities, that are being held all around the country and abroad – Gwalior, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jammu, London, Dubai and more, have created fan frenzy. For all the TV news and Entertainment News updates, follow BollywoodLife on WhatsApp. The makers kick-started the promotions in Gwalior, their lead star’s hometown, where a grand trailer launch was held in the presence of fans and national media. Considering the mood of the film, which tells the inspiring story of an underdog, it made sense for Kartik Aaryan to go back to his roots and be grateful for all that he has achieved, despite having no godfather within the industry. And the most recent event that became the talk of the industry was the opening of advance booking windows in the grandest way on the tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, a first for any Indian film. It can be clearly seen that Sajid Nadiadwala is banking big on Chandu Champion and on his young star Kartik Aaryan.

Sajid Nadiadwala talks about Kartik Aaryan

When BollywoodLife asked Sajid about what makes Kartik the right fit for a film of such a scale, he replied, “Kartik is a fine actor and has an amazing audience connect. His following in the young audience, as well as kids is phenomenal. He has the pull that brings audience to the theatres.” Sajid is also impressed with Kartik’s dedication and how he stuck through the most grueling training, diet, and schedule to become the Champion that he and director Kabir Khan envisioned. Sajid has also worked with Kartik in Satyaprem Ki Katha, and that interaction also gave him the confidence that ‘Yeh kar lega’. Well, Sajid is a smart producer who knows the pulse of the audience and he has the ability to see untapped potential. He has earlier backed projects that brought to fore the true potential of actors and filmmakers by bringing together the right people for the right project. Some of these projects are Chhichhore (the biggest film in late Sushant Singh Rajput’s career), Judwaa 2 (the biggest film in Varun Dhawan’s filmography), Tamasha (the biggest film of Imtiaz Ali), the Housefull franchise (the biggest franchise of Akshay Kumar), Baaghi 2 (the biggest solo film of Tiger Shroff). Now, with him backing Kartik Aaryan and Chandu Champion, it is inevitable that the film may give the star his career’s biggest film so far and propel him onto the next level.

Sajid has a knack for selecting the right talent and he then lets them shine while playing the guiding force. His involvement goes beyond putting in the moolah for the making of the film and he is the reason why his team is able to strategically plan promotional campaigns to reach the widest audience possible and create anticipation. Currently, Sajid Nadiadwala has all his focus on Chandu Champion that releases on 14th June 2024 on the big screens. And right after, he will put his energies on Sikandar starring Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna and directed by AR Murugadoss. This film again is being seen as one that will give the Khan the much elusive box office blockbuster.
