Border 2 storyline starring Sunny Deol revealed, JP Dutta says; 'It will be about…'

The war drama starring Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty and others was high on patriotism and crashed many box office records. After years, JP Dutta is coming back with Border 2. The sequel has been announced with return of Sunny Deol as major Kuldeep. He revealed that the sequel will focus on other battles that were fought during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The filmmaker stressed that the stories of bravery and heroism of the armed forces will always be relevant as everyone loves the country. He further mentioned that the success of Border was because it was a story of valour. He added, “Our armed forces are so inspiring with everything they do that if the emotion is caught and portrayed the right way, it can create magic in the hearts of people. Also, my actors gave it their all. They portrayed the characters so well.” JP Dutta further shared that Border 2 will have chest-thumping patriotism. He added that the film will hold the same sensibilities like his previous films that made people want to join the Indian Army. JP Dutta also revealed that the story of Border 2 was written by his daughter Nidhi two years ago. Border 2 will be directed by Anurag Singh. Apart from Sunny Deol, it is reported by Ayushmann Khurrana is also a part of Border 2. The shooting schedule and more is yet to be revealed.

Apart from Border 2, Sunny Deol also has films like Lahore, 1947, Safar and more in his kitty. Reports state that he is also going to be a part of Ramayana. He will be playing Lord Hanuman’s role in Nitesh Tiwari’s next that has Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram.
