Adil Hussain once again hits back at Sandeep Reddy Vanga; says wouldn’t do Animal even if he is offered Rs 200 crore

Adil Hussain and Sandeep Reddy Vanga indulged in a war of words after the actor commented about he wasn’t aware of Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, being a toxic film and regrets doing it. To which Sandeep Reddy Vanga hit back at him and mentioned that he earned more compared to the artistic movie she does. Adil refrained making any further comment on it. In his latest interview with Zoom was questioned about the personal attack that Sandeep made on him and deemed his art films, to which he said, ” What do I say to that? I think there are a lot of replies to that comment. If he is more famous than Ang Lee, I don’t know what to say Very unfortunate that he thinks like that. His film did a lot of box office collection so probably he thinks like that. I don’t know the exact figures of Kabir Singh but Life of Pi did over a billion dollars so I don’t think he can compete with that. He should have thought about it before he said it.” The Life of Pi actor was asked about his opinion on Animal and if he would ever do that film, he strongly denied and said, “Never. Even if they paid me 100-200 crore, I would never do it.” Adil also said that Sandeep’s comment on Adil doing ’30 art films’ is not to be taken seriously because it is a reactive comment and it does not have ‘any substance’ in it. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was strongly bashed the industry people and majority of the audience, but the director is unaffected and is all set to begin the sequel of the film with Ranbir Kapoor titled Animal Park.
