Abhishek Bachchan turns into a protective son for father Amitabh Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan was awarded the prestigious Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar award at a ceremony held in Mumbai yesterday (24th April 2024). Usha Mangeshkar, sister of Late Lata Mangeshkar Ji, presented the award to the veteran actor. The senior Bachchan was awarded for his immense contribution to cinema. While receiving the award, Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic about his profound bond with the late singer. He shared that his family shares a very admirable bond with Lata Ji and how the latter singer will forever be remembered by millions of people. Post receiving the award, Amitabh exited the ceremony, however, a huge crowd gathered around him, which made the situation a bit tricky. Abhishek Bachchan, who too was present at the event, turned into a protective son as he helped his father to make his way to the car amidst the huge crowd.
